Brace Yourselves: Charli XCX Promises to Release New Music for Five Months Straight

Coming off the high of releasing her first single of the year early last week, Charli XCX announced plans to release new music for five months straight in a tweet posted Tuesday morning.
“Angels, your mother is about to feed you new music for 5 months straight. You deserve it and you’re welcome,” the singer wrote.

Charli is a busy woman. After releasing her stunning collaboration with Lizzo last week, she became the subject of Internet chatter after appearing as a songwriter alongside members of Korean pop sensation BTS on a recent Broadcast Music, Inc. BMI song registration titled “Glow.”
Charli has openly expressed interest in releasing an album in 2019. The singer promised that “things are coming this year,” in a tweet posted to her account in April, teasing that her new music will be “a continuation of Pop 2” and “more Charli than ever before.”
