Song Premiere: Colony House – “Lonely”

Colony House has spent the past month narrating their cross-country tour alongside The Mowgli’s on Paste, detailing the countless hours driving in vans, jamming with personal legends and changing lives through music. The Tennessee quartet consisting of brothers Caleb Chapman and Will Chapman, Scott Mills, and Parke Avery excels in shimmering, optimistic pop indicative of souls far older than one would expect from musicians with one album, so expectations run reasonably high for the band’s sophomore work Only the Lonely, due out on January 13th on Descendant/RCA.

If new track “Lonely” is any indication, Colony House’s new music will carry on the group’s penchant for reverb-drenched, driving guitar, airborne melodies and spiritual lyrics. The song will be instantly available to anyone who preorders the new album.
