Listen to Danny Brown’s Aggressive New Song “Pneumonia”

Danny Brown gave fans a preview of his new track “Pneumonia” last week on Twitter. Now the full version of the latest manic single from his forthcoming album Atrocity Exhibition has arrived. Punchy, clanging beats support the Detroit rapper’s signature menacing rasp.

Brown detailed Atrocity Exhibition earlier this week, which is due out on Sept. 30 via Warp. The follow-up to 2013’s Old is said to take inspiration from Björk, System of a Down and Joy Division, whose song the album is named after. Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt, Kelela, Ab-Soul and others will make appearances on the 15-track, Evian Christ-produced record.

Next month, Brown kicks off his extensive North American “Exhibition 2016” tour in support of the LP. Listen to “Pneumonia” and find those dates below.
