Coming off 2016’s acclaimed Hard to Read, Jackson Phillips’ lo-fi solo vehicle Day Wave has released a nostalgic lyric video for “Gone.” Compiling a series of faded polaroids, the hazy visual entangles Phillips’ delicate vocals with his pining for the past.
One of Paste’s 2016 Best of What’s Next picks, Day Wave has quickly become both a fan and critical favorite. Phillips will take his entirely self-produced EP on the road for a mini headlining tour this November, for which you can find the dates below. Watch the “Gone” video above.
