In August of 1978, new wave’s favorite art-punks Devo released their debut album, Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!, and just a few months later, they were playing a show to an adoring hometown crowd in Cincinnati, Ohio. Hear all three songs, including their bold version of the Stones classic, below via the Paste archives. While you’re at it, watch a 1984 interview with the band from our vault.
