Legendary English post-punk act Echo and the Bunnymen released their album Meteorites earlier this month, their first LP in five years. Frontman Ian McCulloch has never been shy about his fondness for Lou Reed and the rest of the Velvets, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise he and his band elected to cover “I’m Waiting for the Man” for NME’s Basement Sessions.
