Foo Fighters Announce Dinosaur Jr., Speedy Ortiz, More Will Play Their North American Tour Dates

The Foo Fighters are soon kicking off the North American leg of their Concrete and Gold tour, and on Thursday the arena-rock legends announced a hodgepodge of support acts who’ll join them on various dates. The opening lineup includes alt-rock heroes Dinosaur Jr., indie stand-bys Speedy Ortiz and British rockers The Struts, as well as The Joy Formidable, Gang of Youths, The Beaches, Melkbelly and more. Look further down to find whole list and the corresponding dates.

The North American leg will commence on July 6 and continue through the fall, finishing up Oct. 18 in St. Paul, Minn. Concrete and Gold marks the band’s tenth studio album, the first being their 1995 self-titled debut. The 2017 record saw the band pushing the lyrical envelope more so than on other recent works. Cal Jam 18, a mini-fest curated and headlined by the Foos, is happening Oct. 5-6, and the band is sending two lucky Foo fans to the San Bernardino, Calif. show for free. You can enter here. Among the Foo Fighters’ chosen performers are Manchester Orchestra, Greta Van Fleet, Tenacious D and Silversun Pickups.
