Giveaway: Win a Pair of Tickets to The Green River Festival!

Paste is partnering up with The Green River Festival in Greenfield, Mass. to give away two tickets to the 30th anniversary of the event! The festival, which premiered in 1986 at a local community college, has grown to encompass multiple stages, big-name musicians and, of course, a variety of family-friendly outdoor activities including the original cornerstone of the fest: hot air ballooning.

In the decades since its inception, The Green River Festival has seen legendary folk and alternative performers including legends Emmylou Harris and Arlo Guthrie, as well as newer groups like The Avett Brothers, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, CAKE and Old Crow Medicine Show. This year’s lineup is comprised of Peter Wolf, Dawes, NRBQ, Los Lobos, Shakey Graves and many others—you can check out the full slate on the fest’s website.

This year’s fest runs from July 8-10 and features three different stages as well as plenty of food, bike paths and parking, hot air balloon rides, shuttles for swimming and children’s activities, all within the scenic hills of western Massachusetts near museums, restaurants, parks, hotels and other amenities. The giveaway includes two festival passes, as well as two free nights at the nearby Hampton Inn and a complimentary hot air balloon ride.
