Grimes Releases “Delete Forever,” New Single from Miss Anthropocene

Canadian electronic-pop musician Grimes has shared the latest single from her forthcoming album Miss Anthropocene, “Delete Forever.”

In an interview on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Grimes told Zane Lowe that the song is a response to the opioid epidemic and the song was written on the night of Lil Peep’s death, saying that the song is overall a “bummer.”

Miss Anthropocene is out on Feb. 21. The singles “So Heavy I Fell Through the Earth,” “Violence,” “My Name Is Dark” and “4ÆM” have also been released leading up to the album.
