Harvest Thieves are releasing their new track “I Killed Laura Palmer” (best song title ever) off of their upcoming full-length, Rival, out January 8 on Holy Mountain Sounds.
“This is a surrealist song I wrote about having patience and the ability to maintain your civility when you don’t get your way, no matter how much you might want something,” said vocalist/guitarist Cory Reinisch of the track. “It’s a song about longing and all of the harsh emotions that surface when something you want is slipping away. That said, it’s also a song about potentially losing yourself in the wake of your own confusion and devastation. It’s important to be absolutely sure that whatever you happen to be losing yourself for is worth it.”
