It’s been two years since Interpol released any new music, but the band has plans to do just that in the near future, according to frontman Paul Banks.
In a Beats 1 interview with Ebro Darden, in response to the question, “Will we ever see Interpol again?” Banks said, “Oh yeah, we’re going to start doing some writing this fall.”
Banks was being interviewed along with RZA of Wu-Tang Clan about their project Banks and Steelz. The duo released their debut album on Aug. 26.
Although Banks has been busy with his collaborative project, fans can rest assured that Interpol will be back. Watch his Beats 1 interview here.
