Rhode Island’s famed Newport Folk Festival took place this past weekend, with a lineup including everyone from Fleet Foxes, Regina Spektor and Angel Olsen to Wilco, Ben Gibbard and Big Thief—the festival’s final day’s headliner, however, was none other than beloved folk/country singer-songwriter John Prine.

During his set, Prine, 70, was joined onstage by fans and numerous past collaborators—you can watch him and Roger Waters perform seminal track “Hello In There” from the folk-singer’s 1971 debut album above, and a Prine performance from the Paste Cloud below.

Prine also brought out Justin Vernon to sing “Bruised Orange (Chain of Sorrow),” duetted with My Morning Jacket’s Jim James on “All The Best” and joined Margo Price to sing “In Spite Of Ourselves,” all of which you can watch below.

The set concluded with a sing-along with various performers from the festival who came together to sing a heartfelt and honorable rendition of “Paradise,” also off of Prine’s debut album.
