Kanye West is famous for being Kanye West. The latest, most Kanye stunt he’s pulled is hosting an exclusive, “unprecedented” premiere event for the first showing of his music video for “Famous,” off of his latest album The Life of Pablo. The screening, announced via Tidal, will be held at the LA Forum on Friday, June 24 at 7 p.m. PST. Tickets are $25, because why not?
If you’re not in the LA area, you can still livestream the event via TIDAL, regardless of your membership status. Additionally, “Famous” will stream exclusively on TIDAL for one week following the premiere.
West is currently gearing up for his much-anticipated Saint Pablo tour, which kicks off in Indianapolis, Ind. on Aug. 25. The tour includes three October shows at the LA Forum, including one that was recently added due to popular demand.
It’s a shame Kanye didn’t stick with “Aziz Ansari and Eric Wareheim’s “Famous video as the lead single’s official visual—that one is going to be tough to top.
