Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke Announces New Solo Album, Shares Lead Single

Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke (formerly known just as Kele) has announced a new solo album, his third: Fatherland. The LP includes features from Corrine Bailey Rae and Olly Alexander of Years and Years.

Accompanying the announcement, Okereke has shared a new single, “Streets Been Talkin’,” which follows the release of “Yemaya” earlier this year.

“Streets Been Talking was one of the first tracks I wrote for the album,” said Kele in a statement. “It’s a bittersweet ode to romance and the passing of time.”

Fatherland is out Oct. 6 on BMG Music and available for preorder here. You can see the tracklist and album art below, but first, listen to “Streets Been Talkin’” and a Bloc Party Daytrotter Session from the Paste Cloud.
