As we previously reported, Kurt Vile recently announced the April 9 release date for his forthcoming album Wakin On A Pretty Daze, a double-album that features the new (and very excellent) single “Wakin’ on a Pretty Day.”
The Philadelphia mural, which provides a backdrop for Vile’s album, was illustrated by artist Steve Powers, known to many for his graffiti under the name ESPO. You can take a closer look at Powers’ work in the gallery below, thanks to Paste photographer Doug Seymour.
