LANY Announce First Moon Era Tour Dates

After several EPs, LANY put out their debut, self-titled album last year and so began the era of the rose. Now a moon shines over LANY as a new era begins and they head toward the release of their sophomore album Malibu Nights, set for release later this year. Catch the first phase of the moon era this fall when the indie-pop trio embarks on a short tour in Europe and the United States.

The band is kicking off the United States leg of their tour in L.A., their hometown, and ending it in New York—a tie back to their name LANY, which is an acronym for Los Angeles New York. However, as the forthcoming album’s title suggests, Malibu was the location that most strongly impacted the new record. “Thru These Tears” is the first song to emerge in the moon era, and through its many reworkings became a center point around which frontman Paul Klein wrote the rest of the album. A music video for the track is coming, according to the band’s Twitter, when it’s perfect.

Listen to “Thru These Tears” below and find LANY’s tour dates further down. If the dates look a little sparse, don’t worry, the band has promised a massive world tour to come in 2019. Tickets for the currently announced dates go on sale July 27 at 10 a.m. local time.
