U.K.-bred singer-songwriter Luke Sital-Singh is on his way up. While the folk artist hasn’t taken off in the U.S. quite yet, he’s a pretty big deal back home, and as music lovers—some would say music snobs, but we prefer the former—we’re very excited to be able to share the music video for a stripped-down version of his track “Time Is a Riddle” exclusively at Paste today.
We premiered the track itself back in July, and Sital-Singh says that the song jumpstarted the rest of the record. “For better or worse I put everything of myself into this album. I wanted every single second of it to be thought through and yet remain organic and instinctual, which is perhaps an impossibility but I think we got close and I couldn’t be prouder of it,” says Sital-Singh. “It’s a record about time and its fading, about doubt and its nagging, about fear and its following. There’s some happier stuff in there too. I’m so thrilled for people to hear it.”
Watch “Time Is a Riddle” above and check out a Sital-Singh session from the Paste Cloud below. You can preorder Time Is a Riddle, which is out in the U.S. tomorrow, Aug. 11, right here.
