Mitski Announces Her “Last Show Indefinitely,” with Lucy Dacus

From releasing a critically acclaimed album to extensively touring the globe, indie-rock singer-songwriter Mitski’s past year has been a whirlwind.

Mitski’s fifth full-length album, Be The Cowboy, topped multiple best albums of 2018 lists and “Nobody” is her most-streamed single ever.

Since its August release, Mitski has been touring practically non-stop in support of the record. On Tuesday afternoon, she announced via her social media accounts that she would be playing a New York City concert that she calls her “last show indefinitely,” with Lucy Dacus also on the bill.

Mitski has since clarified that she will perform all scheduled shows before Sept. 7, in response to fans’ comments and confusion on Twitter.

In response to another fan who pointed out how long she’s been touring, Mitski replied, “Yeah. It’s time to be a human again. And have a place to live.”

Dacus also shared the show announcement:

Tickets for the show will be available for pre-sale on June 5 at 10 a.m. ET with the password “BETHECOWBOY” on Mitski’s website. The general public on-sale begins on June 7 at 10 a.m. ET.
