Singer/songwriter Monika has two platinum albums in her native Greece and is poised to make a similar impression in the U.S. with the release of her third album, Secret in the Dark. Produced by Homer Steinweiss, a founding member of the Dap-Kings and Menahan Street Band, at Dunham Sound Studios, where Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley are among the regulars, Secret merges Monika’s unique ethereal style with an American soul feel.
