On a morose day for the music world, a bit of good news: Shaky Knees announced a stellar lineup today. The festival, which will take place May 13-15 in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, will feature headliners Florence + The Machine, My Morning Jacket, and Jane’s Addiction (who will be performing their hallmark 1990 album Ritual De Lo Habitual front to back).
Shaky Knees, as always, will focus primarily on the wide spectrum of rock (sister festival Shaky Beats, set for the following weekend, will encompass hip-hop and electronic acts). Among the notable bands on the undercard are British up-and-coming new-wavers The 1975, Pacific Northwest standouts The Decemberists and The Head and The Heart, and last summer’s pop-rock heroes Walk the Moon. Check out the full lineup on Shaky Knees’ website, and, if you’re interested, learn about the four-year-old festival’s conception and success in this feature we published last May.
