Nashville-based singer Natalie Prass starred as herself and wrote the soundtrack for a new short film titled Oh Jerome, No. The film was the third installment of Ray-Ban’s #ITTAKESCOURAGE campaign with the theme of fighting perfection. The film also includes new songs written and performed by Prass. Prass’ co-star Mamoudou Athie plays Jerome, who struggles with scaring away dates by saying “I love you” too quickly. Also appearing is Broad City’s Arturo Castro.
Oh Jerome, No was directed by Alex Karpovsky (Girls) and Teddy Blanks, and produced by Melodie Sisk. Ray-Ban’s #ITTAKESCOURAGE film series also features other short films and features that center on the themes of opening your heart, pushing yourself, fighting perfection, facing critics, doing your part and unplugging.
