Since 1954, the legendary Newport Jazz Festival has hosted the world’s greatest jazz legends and laid the template for music festivals the world over. This year’s edition, set for Friday Aug. 4 through Sunday Aug. 6 on Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay, features more than 50 sets at Fort Adams State Park and the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The lineup features The Roots, Maceo Parker, Bela Fleck, Andra Day, Branford Marsalis Quartet, Snarky Puppy, Rhiannon Giddens, Christian McBride Big Band, and many more.
