Nicole Atkins Will Return to the Studio to Work on Her Fourth Record

New Jersey songstress Nicole Atkins is returning to the studio next week to set to work on her fourth studio album. She will be joined by Austin Jenkins, Josh Block and Chris Vivion, who are responsible for producing Leon Bridges’ debut record, Coming Home.

The follow-up to 2014’s Slow Phaser will undoubtedly showcase Atkins’ beautiful siren voice, and her elegant and raw sensibility. Fans can follow her progress on the new untitled record via her PledgeMusic campaign here. On the site, she details how this forthcoming album will negotiate with emotions associated with loneliness, change, heartbreak and more.

In the meantime, you can hear Atkins as the weekend morning host on Sirius XM’s The Spectrum channel. She’ll also preview a song called “A Little Crazy” from her forthcoming album on the season finale of Showtime’s Roadies, which will air Sunday, Aug. 28.
