Paste Acquires NoiseTrade.com, Free Music & Books Download and Streaming Platform

Today begins a new era of NoiseTrade with its acquisition by Paste. We’ve long been fans of the site’s ability to connect artists with new fans and music fans with their new favorite bands. We recently combined forces with Daytrotter to become the largest collection of live music performances on the internet, and we’ll be adding that library to NoiseTrade in the coming weeks, offering thousands of sessions to NoiseTrade’s already abundant offering. Our goal is to continue the good work begun by our friends Derek Webb, Joe Kirk and their co-founders over a decade ago.

NoiseTrade lets fans download and stream hundreds of thousands of songs and books on our unique platform. We also help musicians and authors connect with their new fans through email. The service is completely free for both fans and artists.

To celebrate this joining of forces, we’re offering free downloads of some of our favorite Daytrotter sessions to fans of NoiseTrade.
