ON AN ON Announce Hiatus and Farewell Tour, Debut “Ghosts” Video

Music News

The first piece of themselves that ON AN ON shared on the Internet was their song, “Ghosts.” Now, the Minneapolis trio is coming full circle by releasing a final video for this song as the band announces their hiatus.

Singer Nate Eisland shared on the band’s Facebook page that ON AN ON is taking a break from touring but may still release music every so often. “We’re redirecting the energy we were giving to OAO into new exciting things,” Eisland wrote regarding the new projects the band members are embarking on.

Keyboardist Alissa Ricci will be making ambient music and will work on environmental-centered art, while bassist Ryne Estwing will still release music under the name Louis and will begin releasing electronica as MLMO. Eisland will also be working on a musical project called COMO.

ON AN ON released their first album Give In in 2012, an intriguing and strong debut. The band released an equally powerful follow-up, And the Wave Has Two Sides, last year.

As a final hurrah, the band is setting off on their final tour this July—tickets are available here. Check out the dates below, but first, watch ON AN ON’s “Ghosts” video.
