Today, nearly 14 years after the launch of PasteMagazine.com, the site receives some upgrades to both its look and functionality.
The new design allows for all 15 main sections to be featured on the navigation bar, including the addition of politics during one of the most memorable election years of the modern era. We’ve also added a Paste Studios section, highlighting the videos shot in our new Manhattan space. We’ve already hosted some of our current favorites like Lucius, Anderson East and Josh Ritter; legends like Joan Baez, Peter Yarrow and Tom Jones; and up-and-coming acts like Aurora, LIGHTS, Julien Baker and Trixie Whitley. We’ve even hosted several comedy nights with some of New York’s best comedians.
Our podcast section is just getting off the ground with launch of Drinks With:, an artist-on-artist interview series hosted by songwriters Skip and Timshel Matheny of the band Roman Candle. Comedian Hollis Gillespie will soon launch Bombed with Hollis G., where she interviews fellow stand-up comics about their most awkward experiences and how they made them funnier. And I’ve got my own show coming: The Archive will feature exclusive historic interviews and musical performances from some of rock’s biggest legends in their prime. Look for the premiere episode with John Lennon next month.
