For the first time since 2012, Radiohead will play live shows.
The band announced three European festival headlining dates: Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona in June, Openair St. Gallen in Switzerland on Jul. 2, and Nos Alive Fest in Lisbon, Portugal on Jul. 8. (Interestingly, the band’s website mistakenly has the Primavera date as Jul. 3—might want to change that, guys.)
Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and company are rumored to be near releasing their ninth studio album, their first since 2011’s King of Limbs, and these festival announcements will merely increase the anticipation. For now, the States will have to wait to see if Radiohead will cross the Atlantic, but that would seem to make sense. Stay tuned.
