Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce 2017 North American Tour

The Red Hot Chili Peppers announced the first three legs of their 2017 North American Tour today. The band will be touring in support of their 11th studio album, The Getaway. The tour will begin on Jan. 5 in San Antonio, Texas, and will travel all over the continent over the course of several months.

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will support RHCP throughout these dates, while Jack Irons will join the bill for the January shows. Every ticket purchased for the tour includes a choice of a standard physical or digital copy of The Getaway. Pre-sale for fan club tickets launches this Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24.

Anthony Kiedis and company are as big as ever: The Getaway debuted atop the Billboard album sales chart, and at #2 on the Top 200. More dates for RHCP’s tour will be announced in the near future. Until then, check out the list of confirmed dates below, and feel old because the Red Hot Chili Peppers have eleven albums out.
