Sheer Mag Announce Debut Album, Drop Lovestruck Single “Just Can’t Get Enough”

Though Sheer Mag’s been putting out music for a few years now, the Philly rock group’s just now releasing their debut LP.

And to announce Need to Feel Your Love, Sheer Mag have dropped one hell of a lead single. “Just Can’t Get Enough” is the kind of head-over-heels love song that comes without any temperance—no qualifiers to dilute how fervent and intoxicating this particular love is. Tina Halladay wails, “I get dizzy with you, honey,” and it’s honestly the kind of thing you could imagine hearing at a sock hop. Though the band’s music is all ‘70s power chords and punkish sneer, the sentiment here is about as old as it gets, but still sounds remarkably fresh.

Sheer Mag said of the single in a statement:

“Just Can’t Get Enough” is a straight up and down rock ballad about ACTUALLY being in love, which is something we don’t often write about without being cynical in some way. Being away from the one you love is hard. This song speaks as if that feeling for that person is something as natural and powerful as a gravitational pull.
