Snow Patrol Announce First North American Headlining Tour in Six Years

Irish rockers Snow Patrol aren’t wasting any time (chasing cars) following their stadium run supporting Ed Sheeran, announcing Monday their first headlining North American tour in six years.

The band is embarking on a European tour from December through February 2019, knocking out a few festival dates throughout March and then returning to the U.S. for a 21-date run of most major U.S. cities, from Atlanta to Los Angeles, through April and May. The almost-nonstop six-month venture is in support of the band’s first studio album in over seven years, Wildness. The album, released in May, found the band “sonically reinvigorated and searching for meaning and connection in our cluttered modern age,” something clearly reflected in their enthusiastic return to touring.

For a look at Snow Patrol through the years, revisit Paste’s 2008 interview with the band, as well as our interview with singer Gary Lightbody almost 10 years later. Find the band’s North American tour dates below.
