Listen to Temples Perform Songs from Sun Structures on This Day in 2013

English psych-pop band Temples arrived at just the right time. They released their debut single in 2012 and their debut album two years later, right around the same time other acts like Tame Impala and Jagwar Ma found success with their own respective takes on psychedelia.

Temples were the most overtly ’60s-indebted group of the bunch, and their first album Sun Structures was marked by dense rays of classic psych and prismatic pop. On this day in 2013, the quartet recorded a Daytrotter session at 2KHz studios in London, where they performed four songs from their then-forthcoming album: “Sun Structures,” “Keep in the Dark,” “The Guesser” and “Colours to Life.”
