In preparation for their upcoming album release, The Drums have released a fabulous new track featuring Io Echo, along with a batch of brand new tour dates.
“Mirror” is Jonny Pierce’s introspective self-evaluation; it captures the lonesomeness and uncertainty we have all felt at some point in our lives. “This entire album felt like intense therapy and ‘Mirror’ was the first session,” says Pierce. “My steady anchor through the entire recording process was my dearest friend, Ioanna Gika (of Io Echo). She held my hand through all of it so I thought it fitting to ask her to sing with me on this song.”
