Thom Yorke Announces New Shows, Reissue of Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes

Here’s the skinny: it’s L.A., baby. Thom Yorke will perform two shows with longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri, the first at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre on Dec. 12, and the second at the Fox Theatre in Oakland on Dec. 14. These dates are in addition to Yorke’s appearance at Day for Night Festival in Houston on Dec. 17.

Yorke will be playing a wide range of songs from his solo repertoire, which does not include the song “Lift” from Radiohead’s recent OKNOTOK, nor his collab with Hans Zimmer, “(Ocean) Bloom,” for Planet Earth: Blue Planet II. However, fans can get excited about 2014’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, which will be re-issued on Dec. 8 via XL Recordings. You can expect streaming, CDs, vinyl—the works.
