Masters of grandiose noise Titus Andronicus announced the dates of their North American tour, “Rockers on the Road,” along with an official live video of a new song, “69 Stones.” They will be joined by the Texan garage-glam unit, A Giant Dog, and Deer Tick’s side project, Happiness. The punk rockers’ forthcoming live album, S+@dium Rock: Five Nights at the Opera, will be released digitally on July 29 and physically on Aug. 5 via Merge.
In the performance video, Patrick Stickles plays the harmonica before jumping into the bouncy, world-weary tune that was an outtake of last year’s triple-LP rock opera, The Most Lamentable Tragedy. “69 Stones” will be included on the new album alongside a full-length concert film that will be available to stream online.
