Watch Twenty One Pilots’ New Short Film Capturing Their Studio Process, Performance with MUTEMATH

Twenty One Pilots are having a good year: the indie-pop duo recently received five Grammy nods, including three for “Heathens,” the song they wrote for the blockbuster Suicide Squad. The band just released a peek into their glowing world: a new short film that captures them performing five of their songs in the studio with the New Orleans-based alt-rock band MUTEMATH. They’ve dubbed the project TOP X MM.

The 25 minute-long video opens with “Heathens” and then moves through four songs from their 2015 album Blurryface: “Heavydirtysoul,” “Ride,” “Tear In My Heart” and “Lane Boy.” Twenty One Pilots have made all of the tracks recorded in the session available for free download here.
