Are You Ready for a Vampire Weekend At Bernie’s?

No, that headline isn’t just the greatest band/movie portmanteau of all time (we couldn’t resist). It also means that Vampire Weekend is playing their first show since Rostam Batmanglij’s departure —and first show overall since 2014—at a Bernie Sanders rally in Iowa on Saturday. Iowa caucuses are on Monday, so this one heck of a last push.

Ezra Koenig and company will be joined by staunch Sanders supporter Killer Mike, Foster the People, and a host of other musical and celebrity guests at the event, called Students For Bernie. The concert will be held at the University of Iowa Field House, and it’s free and open to the public (though Sanders’ website strongly encourages RSVPs, and admission will be first come, first served).
