The Fuji Rock Festival happened this past weekend in Yuzawa, Japan, and some popular American acts took the stage. Among them was Vampire Weekend, who brought special guest Danielle Haim onstage to crank out a few tunes. With just a tambourine in hand, she sang along to the band’s 2013 track “Obvious Bicycle,” then, guitar-clad, she rocked out to Thin Lizzy’s classic jam “The Boys Are Back in Town.” Watch both performances go down below.

Other performers from Fuji Rock’s massive lineup included Spanish rock quartet Hinds, who have a strangely enormous following in Japan, as well as Kacey Musgraves, Mac DeMarco, Parquet Courts and headliners N.E.R.D., Kendrick Lamar and Bob Dylan (!), who closed out the weekend.

Vampire Weekend, whose debut album turns 10 this year, played their first show in four years earlier this summer. They’ve also been teasing new music, recently revealing that their highly anticipated fourth album is “94.5 percent done.”

Haim recently wrapped their Sister Sister Sister tour, and earlier this summer Saturday Night Live spoofed the California-based trio in a musical sketch. Enliven your Monday with Tina Fey’s spot-on impression here.

While you’re here, listen to Haim’s 2012 Daytrotter Session further down below.
