Wavves Release Surprise Emo Christmas EP

Wavves continue their holiday novelty release tradition with their two-song Christmas EP Emo Christmas, out now on digital and cassette through Ghost Ramp.

The EP features the title track, written by Wavves frontman and Ghost Ramp founder Nathan Williams, and “So Glad It’s Christmas,” written by Wavves bassist Stephen Pope. Both tracks clock in at around two minutes each, with the entire EP sitting at just under four minutes long. Last year for the holidays, the band released a cover of “Christmas Time is Here.”

The EP is the first crop of new music the band has released since last year’s You’re Welcome. In April, the band re-released their self-titled debut album in honor of Wavves’s ten-year anniversary.
