
Austin-based indie pop band Wild Child came by the Paste Studio to record a few tracks from their third album, Fools, out now.
Wild Child began as a twosome, made up of vocalist/violinist Kelsey Wilson and vocalist and ukulele-player Alexander Beggins. The two met on a backup singing gig, and the rest is history.
Fools was recorded in Savannah, Georgia, while Wilson was going through a split from her long-term fiancé. Though most of the songs were co-written by Wilson and Beggins, the title track (above) is a product of writing from each member of the now-seven-piece band.
