About the Book
Brandon Carlson wouldn't let a broken heart keep him from moving on with his life. Deciding to remodel a dilapidated Craftsman home in Seattle, Brandon finds himself right next door to Maggie, a woman who could possibly give him a second chance at the love and happiness he never thought he'd have.
Maggie is still dealing with her husband's death and struggling to stay afloat as a single mother to her young son Aaron. With her late husband's best friend still in the picture, her feelings are starting to shift but she doesn't know if it's for Rob, the long-time friend, or Brandon, the mysterious neighbor next door.
Brooke lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her photographer husband. They have three
kids: a rambunctious toddler, and 2 Boston Terrier/Beagle mixes referred to as
the K-Bears. Brooke is a music enthusiast and film lover, avid gardener, pop
culture junkie, and serial reader.
