About the Book

This poetic-allegory is another work like that to John Bunyan's "Holy War" or John Milton's "Paradise Lost". Recounting in allegorical, fictional, and biblical imagery and poetic form, this excerpt is from Christian Clingman's first poetic work that he seriously wrote but sadly, never finished. If you were moved by John Bunyan's Pilgrims Progress or any Christian allegory likened to that of the Door Within, the Circle Trilogy, or other; you will enjoy this allegory-in-poetry as well!

About the Author

Christian Luke Clingman is a 19 year-old poet/writer currently living in the quiet Ozarks of Missouri. Originally from California, Christian was early on inspired by fantasy stories by C.S Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien. At age 13, after watching the ERAGON movie, Christian plunged himself into a hobby of writing. Ever since then, his skill of trying to relate his experiences and life into stories has grown and moved on to relating his walk with the Lord and the struggles and challenges (yet blessings) of the Christian life to achieve and overcome can be found in the many prayers and poems he loves to write. Currently, Christian Clingman lives with his family, while working on the farm, writing poetry, thinking up lyrics for rap songs (with no tunes yet), praying daily to walk in a right, humble, and glorifying way before the Lord his Father, and in that prayer, ever looking forward to the day when he shall meet the promised wife of his youth from the Lord's hand.
