About the Book

A Christmas Caroler is a modern twist on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Frankie Scrooge is a bitter, miserable, lonely drug addict and alcoholic. One Christmas he decides to return to his childhood home, hoping to create a new connection with his estranged family. That night, three spirits appear and take Frankie to visit his past, present and probable future, revealing where he might have taken a wrong path in his life. Frankie fears what might happen if he doesn’t change and make choices that will lead him to find happiness and redemption.

About the Author

After I had been laid off from my techie position, I decided to become a full-time author. Not having any formal training, I read books on writing and joined online writing groups

Spending much of my writing time in cafes, I enjoy overhearing conversations at surrounding tables, giving me wonderful ideas for stories. Recently, I completed the first draft of a murder mystery. I am also working on my memoir as a family advocate and caregiver.

A Christmas Caroler is my first published short story.
