Born Isaiah Drone III in Little Rock, Arkansas, on January 19, 1976, he was the second born after his sister Kimberly. His father and mother had two children this allowed them opportunities for education and travels throughout the United States. “I remember having a love of the Arts and playing music at the tender age of three years old. My mother purchased me a set of drums because she understood my sense of time and love of music.” Isaiah seemed to learn how to write poems, perform live, and play different forms of music on many instruments by the time he had reached 12. Many veteran musicians and business professionals would invite him to perform in the art galleries and also some of the top jazz clubs around town this afforded him the opportunity to display his musical abilities and networking skills.

“I came up in a strong church background with a large sum of family members on both sides primarily attending the same church. My dad was a minister at the church up until he became very sickly. Growing up he was absent quite frequently because of his many hospital visits and had little time to guide me through my adulthood.” Isaiah Drone III parents were extremely faithful church members so most of his childhood revolved around the church singing and playing music. His mother’s father, Deacon James E. Johnson was one of the head deacons of Greater Christ Temple in Little Rock, Arkansas, his parents based their lives around this church even to this day. “My Grandfather Isaiah Drone Sr. was the Pastor of a holiness church in Mayflower, Arkansas back in the late 1960s up until his passing in the mid 1980s.”

“I enrolled in college immediately after high school to study music theory and jazz performance and shortly after was ask to move to New York City to study under the Legendary Jazz Pianist, James Williams one of the members of “Art Blakey and the Jazz Messagers.” Isaiah deciding after constantly playing gigs around town at nightclubs, hotels, and private functions, to quit college and joined the Army as an Aviation Operation Specialist and later became a member of the U.S. Army Band. While stationed overseas in the United States Army Band he learned from noted arrangers in the band field how to arrange big band and small group musical charts for musicians to perform at concerts and special functions. He has also had the opportunity to perform on many international stages performing live in front of crowds of 100,000 people or more and playing with Grammy Award winning artists and even performed once for the famous Vice President Dick Cheney.

“During the writing of this book I was currently finishing up on an M.B.A. Degree at the University of Phoenix on campus while still trying to maintain a feasible G.P.A. for my scheduled Doctorate Degree in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis on Christian Ministry for the later part of 2014 at Grand Canyon University.” Isaiah owes all his thanks to God that he has acquired over 17 years within the teaching and instructor profession and has been trained in solid, decisive leadership and in resiliency skills. He presents a versatile background that has provided him with insight and hands-on experience in education, public speaking, instructions, and administration. He is currently operating several businesses and teaching in the Dallas Forth Worth School District. “My personal goals are to serve in education and eventually become connected with philanthropy in some sort of way.
