About the Author
Dr. James C. Burnham was born in Oklahoma and thereafter lived in small, country towns until his family moved to Northern California. Among rice paddies and wildlife reserves, he enjoyed a Huckleberry Finn childhood. His backyard was the Sacramento River, where he fished and swam at leisure. He has since earned professional degrees in music, literature, counseling, and a doctorate in learning psychology. He spends his leisure time traveling the world, writing and taking photographs.
