About the Book

This is the first in a series of Children's books about Buddhism. It is only the introduction to Zen, the boy. It tells the brief story about Zen, his parents, what they want to teach him, and his overall simple life. It also gives you hints about what his future journeys will be. This is a book that was meant for parents to read to their children. While it is geared for children ages four and under, it provides a learning opportunity for all ages.

About the Author

Jeremiah Olson has always been an unpublished writer. He couldn't get his act together, or had a good case of ADHD, so he never actually finished a book he started writing. When he became a father he wanted to teach his children about Buddhism. Unfortunately he struggled with finding books about Buddhism that he could read to his children. A little voice in his head said, "I could write books about Buddhism for kids around the age of 3." It was a battle to get the first one done and the artwork is less than desired but it is a work in progress. This is the start to his series of children's books about Buddhism. This is just an introduction. A second book about A boy named Zen's experiences with Karma is also available and a third book entitled Zen Learns to Walk With Grandpa Confucius is set to be released in June of 2015.
