About the Book

From the #1 Amazon bestselling author of over twenty-three novels comes a new adventure in a world destroyed by war. Can you survive the apocalypse?

An aptitude test separates people into three classes at birth. 23-year old Willow is the last Divine on Earth. Proc 1 is the first of the floating sanctuaries the classes strive to ascend to. When a covert group sneaks Willow on board, she assumes an identity not her own, and unleashes a virus that kills everyone on the ship but her.

When the bodies begin to rise from the ashes of the disembodied ship on the eastern shores of New Jersey, she must choose to save herself or save the world. There’s just one problem: the infection is in her blood, the dead walk the earth, and those left alive do so at extreme peril. Will Willow find a cure for the virus developed to end death, or will she succumb to the mutation inside of her?

About the Author

My name is Matthew Thrush.

I'm a #1 Amazon bestselling author with more than twenty-three titles to my name; including both my own and novels that I've ghostwritten for other clients. I've been writing professionally since 2005. Over the last twelve years, my quest has taken me on various adventures. From working as an Arabic Linguist & Intelligence Analyst for the United States Navy (and NSA indirectly) to writing articles for online blogs like Storychick that focuses on love, sex, and relationships with adult women, to articles and essays on dentistry, business, IT, and healthy & wellness.

After the Navy, I transitioned to the corporate world through copywriting, technical writing, and editing. This took me into various industries like relationships, dating, college entry essays, essential oils and physical fitness, to technical documentation for one of biggest web hosting IT software designers in the world.

My work has been published in multiple literary magazines from school papers, to the Sam Houston State Review, to online magazines. Five of my articles were listed as Editor's Pick of the Week on Storychick, and my work in the Navy as a linguist awarded me and my team an exemplary recognition coin from the President of the United States.

Outside of the corporate world, my love has been with creating fictional stories. I've been blessed to find great success here and to be able to connect with so many readers and other authors. Some of my recent accomplishments have been:

- #1 Amazon bestseller status - #2 in Science Fiction for my 2136 novel - Accruing nearly 54,000 avid followers - Featured Author on Wattpad and part of their Futures Program - Accruing over one million reads for my debut post-apocalyptic novel - 2136 - Selected by AMC to use my novel, 2136, to promote Season 8 of The Walking Dead - Top 35 for TNT's horror writing contest (the winner had their story adapted to film) - Ghostwritten twelve novels (and have contracts with long-term clients to continue) - Published eleven of my own novels - Top 10% in fiction writing (on another freelance marketplace) - Top Rated status (on another freelance marketplace) - Top 20% in U.S. Proofreading (on another freelance marketplace) - Top 30% in U.S. Spelling (on another freelance marketplace) - Started a publishing company - Thrush Productions, LLC.

I've written in numerous forms over the years but my specialty lies with Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Mystery/Suspense, Thriller, Action & Adventure, and Self-Help.
