About the Book

Naomi’s just your average girl: she goes to work, flirts with the cute guy at yoga, doesn’t want her mom’s help finding a man, and doesn’t want the world to know she’s a werewolf. Just one problem, her little brother’s been kidnapped and the kidnappers are going to torture him into shapeshifting and then kill him in public Monday morning. As Naomi tries to save her brother and her secret, she discovers that he’s not the only one who has been kidnapped. She must delve deeper into the paranormal world to find who took her brother and the others, while dealing with her overbearing and panicked mother and the three potential mates her mother had already dragged down for her to meet this weekend. But not all is at it seems and secrets are perhaps her worst enemy in trying to save her brother’s life. Can Naomi protect her brother, her family, and her secret?

About the Author

Hi! I'm Mel Corbett.

I'm fascinated by the question of "What if..." What if werewolves are real and just trying to pass as normal? What if ancient alien theorists got it wrong, and aliens keep smashing us back to the stone age to keep us out of space? What if your engagement ring was magic?

I grew up reading Anne McCaffrey, Christopher Pike, Steven King, Michael Chrichton and Anne Rice. I like vampires that don't sparkle and that's just how it is.

I also studying linguistics, do triathlons, and do the bidding of the 110+ pounds of fluff that I call my dogs.
