About the Book

Slave girl Belle of Sacria has been given a task: to assassinate the dangerous man who killed her beloved Prince Cornelius. As she struggles to appease her vengeful monarch the Queen Isabella and maintain her usual duties, Belle is embroiled in a doomed romance with the foreign prince's assassin and first in command, Shadow.

Worse still, the queen is dying. For an heir to ascend, the magic bloodstone ring must be found. A growing fear spreads through the castle as everyone, from cook to courtier, becomes entangled in a game of power play to see who will find the ring and crown the next king.

A fast-paced page-turner packed with intrigue, romance, and magic.
