About the Book

The book Way to Intimacy is the culmination of two years of research and writing. It is the second volume of a three-volume series on how to grow closer to God. The contents of this book include insightful and practical chapters on how Christians can become more intimate with God through prayer, meditation, fasting, study, simplicity, solitude & silence, service, confession, fellowship, giving, and worship. The book has been recommended by Rev. Howard Baker, Author and Instructor of Spiritual Formation at Denver Seminary and Fuller Seminary Colorado. He says,

“In The Way to Intimacy Ron Putnam shows us, in an intimate way, the paths to intimacy with God. Drawing from the best spiritual guides past and present, he skillfully leads us inward, then outward, never letting us forget that we are on a journey, not just with Jesus, but with fellow followers from around the world. This book has the potential, by God’s grace, to guard the worldwide church from the shallowness and superficiality that has befallen so much of the American church. May it find many readers!”
