About the Book

Where do you go to learn ballroom dance? Why should you try it in the first place? How much does it cost? What do you do during a dance lesson? What do you do with the dancing after you learn it? I tell you all these things and more in Dance Diaries: Learning Ballroom Dance. You'll also be prepared for the awkwardness that no one really talks about, like the physical contact and the dynamics of your relationship with your dance teacher. With this quick read, you'll learn all of the things I WISH I had known when I first started learning ballroom dance.

About the Author

Katie is known as the Girl with the Tree Tattoo because of the tree oflife tattoo that covers her entire back. She has been taking ballroom dancing lessons since December 2012 and competing in pro-am ballroom competitions since April 2014. It was through ballroom dance that Katie started to discover who she really was and what she was capable of, despite the demons of fear, self-doubt, and anxiety that live in her head. Katie started her blog, the Girl with the Tree Tattoo, as a way to share her experiences as an amateur ballroom dancer and connect with other dancers and anyone who is pursuing their passion.
